The Offshore Jigging Squid Rig is made with 30 pound mono and one 7/0 bait holder hook, perfect for rigging grubs. Added onto the hook is a 4.5 inch squid skirt for added profile.  Dropper loop extends off the main leader to hold the hook and a loop is tied at the bottom for a bucktail, jig head, or weight. This rig works perfecr for fluke/flounder, sea bass and other species.  Bait the hooks with any bait - squid strips, cut bait, shiners, spearing, live minnows, Gulp.  The hooks and squid skirt can be removed from the dropper loop to add anything you can want. Rig is designed for offshore reef fishing but can be used in the bay for larger baits, such as 6 inch or larger grubs...chasing the double digit flounder. Squid colors come in pink shine and white. This rig is designed to catch large fish in deep waters.
